KYSTEN SAEEDAH RALEIGH
Kysten Saeedah Raleigh was born October 13, 1981, to the late Cheryl Y.
Griffin and Steven Hammond in Secaucus, New Jersey. She departed this life
suddenly on Friday, November 14, 2025.
At a young age, Kysten and her mother relocated to Georgia where she was
educated in the Georgia Public School system, Fort Valley State University and
Georgia Tech.
Kysten was preceded in death by her mother, Cheryl Yvonne Griffin and her
sister, Tawn Chantel Griffin.
She is survived by her father, Steven Hammond of Jersey City, NJ; sisters,
Rasheeda and Zabricka Farley (NJ), Saichya and Kailyn Hammond (NJ),
Zaakiyah Hammond; brothers Varshone and Kenyatta Farley; grandmother Iva
Louise Griffin (VA); aunts Iva Denise Griffin (VA), Lisa Kim Griffin Aycox
(Rodney)(NJ); Evelyn (FL), Lorraine (VA), Arlene, Ceal, and Joann Hammond
(NJ); uncles Allen L. Griffin (CA), Gary and Dominick Hammond (NJ); cousins
Torin Griffin, Allen Mitchell, Iva K. Griffin, Rodney and Lily Aycox and many other cousins, family and friends.
