Mother Mildred Hixson, age 82, of Atlanta, GA passed away on February 5, 2026. Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday February 28, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Salem Bible Church, 2283 Baker Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318, Dr. Joseph L. Williams, Senior Pastor; Rev. Jasper W. Williams, Jr., Pastor Emeritus. Interment will follow at Eastview Cemetery, Newnan, GA. The viewing for Mother Hixson will be Friday February 27, 2026 from 4-7 PM at Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home Historic Westend Chapel, 1003 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd SW, Atlanta, GA 30310. Final arrangements entrusted to Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home. 770-836-0044.
